We are here again, another happy music journey in Chartwell Nursing home in 2019.

"You Raise Me Up", by HHCC choir

"To Alice" by Zachary _11 year old, he has been learning piano from our instructor for years and grows up with HHCC through many performance opportunities. He has the full support from his parents. Good job Zachary!!!

" Amazing Grace " and " Silent Night" by HHCC chief tenor Mr. Qian. Mr. Qian squeezed his schedule to come and perform for the tenants in nursing home. How graceful it is!!!

Kelly of McMaster fresh student played 钢琴诗人肖邦Chopin's "Nocturne". Fluent and beautiful, a great job by RCM performance grade young pianist!!! She has not only delivery the sound piano skills but also a great warm heart for those staying in the nursing home.

Kelly and her classmate in McMaster delivered another great music performance by playing violin and piano " Meditation De Thais" composed by 马塞耐特 Massenet. Kelly is accepted to play in McMaster orchestra in the very first year given her grade 8 violin skills.

" Scarborough Fair" , " On Wings of Song ", by HHCC chief Soprano and Chief Alto, lovely voice and melody best fit for the love story.

"Jasmine" and " Good People Good Dream" by HHCC female chorus, which brings the famous Chinese songs to the Canadian community through HHCC.

" Can't help falling in love with you", Elvis' love song through HHCC male chorus made the tenants in Chartwell to move, tears in eyes and falling on faces.

" We wish you a Merry Christmas" and " Auld Lang Syne" time to sing together by all the choir members and the tenants in Chartwell.

HHCC Choir and the tenants in the Chartwell nursing home enjoyed an happy music hour together. Many tenants in Chartwell said "you must come again"; newly joined choir members attended the performance and said we should plan more and come more, after they saw how happy the tenants were and so much emotional moments with tears in the concert; one lady tenant held our choir member's two hands to her face, no words but tears in both ladies' eyes. Yes, 2019 is a great year for HHCC for not only being recognized by the City but also accepted by local Canadians and communities. Within one year, 2 performances for nursing homes, 2 performances for 2019 Chinese Spring Festival, 3 performances in concerts_ Hamilton, Burlington and Mississauga, formal dresses, beautiful vocals, professional vocal training and the most performance exposure in the region: HHCC -- the best is yet to come!!!
